So High Sports and Fitness specialists are not just personal trainers. It takes more than getting a personal training certification to be a So High Sports & Fitness Specialist. So High Sports and Fitness specialists go through an extensive training program under the watchful eye of Olympic Gold Medalist/Fitness Expert, Charles Austin. Using his training methods and routines they must first achieve a higher level of fitness to insure that they can relate to their clients. Then they must demonstrate that they understand Charles’ training philosophy and then be able to implement it with clients. Also, So High Sports and Fitness Specialist must demonstrate that they have what it takes to motivate and lead their clients to success.

Charles Austin has achieved a level of success of which most people can only dream.
From 1990 to 2004, he coached himself to great success with his highest accomplishment being winning the Olympic gold medal. Charles is the current American (7’ 10 ½”) and Olympic (7’ 10”) high jump record holder, 2-time World Champion, World Cup Champion and a 9-time national track and field high jump champion. Charles has utilized So High Sports and Fitness training throughout his entire 15 years of competing as a professional athlete. Throughout his career he was able to compile training tips and methods from some of the best coaches and athletes from all over the world to create a training program that works for everyone.

Nathalie Austin is part owner of So High Sports and Fitness. Nathalie studied and participated in martial arts for 3 years then was introduced to So High Sports and Fitness training in 2000. After implementing So High Sports and Fitness training into her daily life, she has been able to build lean muscle, improve endurance, and maintain a high level of fitness. Nathalie trained side by side with Charles as he prepared for the 2000 Olympics. She knows what it takes to train at the highest level.
 
Terrell Mercer joined So High Sports and Fitness as a Performance Specialist in March 2008, after being a client of Charles’s for a little over a year. Utilizing the training methods incorporated by Charles, Terrell lost over 100 pounds and rehabilitated two knee injuries that had required reconstructive surgery when he was competing as a college athlete. Whether you are trying to lose weight, or an athlete looking to improve your performance, Terrell’s background allows him to relate to what you are trying to achieve.
 
Judy Thornton became a So High Sports and Fitness specialist in November 2009 after being a client of Charles’ for 13 months. During this time she went from a size 12 to a size 4, rehabilitated a back injury that had been lingering for 26 years and drastically improved her blood circulation. Now rejuvenated, energized, looking and feeling great, she wants to help others achieve their health and fitness goals. Judy is another perfect example of the benefits of having determination, commitment and motivation.

Sandra Murawski joined So High Sports and Fitness Center as a Performance Specialist in May 2010, after being a client for 8 months. During this time she was able to improve her fitness level and take care of lower back pain that for so long kept her from doing a variety of exercises -- from crunches to long runs -- and also some basics daily life activities like gardening, holding her kids or moving heavy stuff around. For the passion of sports and fitness she gave up a Law Degree to become a So High Sports & Fitness specialist. Sandra is here to help you reach your fitness goals.
